Bringing Clarity to the Chaos
One of our clients told us that we bring clarity to the chaos. A lot of small business owners tend to feel out of control, especially as the business grows, and the need to do things more and more efficiently gets stronger.
Controlling the plates
When you start a business, all the information is inside your head. Everything’s under control. But as you start to grow, things change. You hire more people, you reach more customers, and suddenly your ways of working feel like they’re... well, not working.
Resources are often tight and that feeling of too many plates spinning can be constant.
In lots of ways, you’re a victim of your own success. Of course things are going to feel out of control when your business first starts to grow. But it doesn’t have to stay like this. You can take control of your operations, making it easier, better, cheaper and faster to get work done.
Being a detective
Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of detective work to identify what is wrong. Lots of small business owners are so caught up in the day-to-day running of the business that sitting down to really work out where the problems lie is impossible. This is the important bit, though, because how can you solve a problem without knowing exactly what it is?
Once these processes are up and running, you need to stick with them. Start small. Make little changes to your way of working and you’ll get results... but only if you’re consistent.
